Frequently asked questions
Is marsX Business really free?
Yes. There are no paid plans, and a verified business name costs nothing. Fair-use limits apply so the platform stays safe for customers.
Who can use marsX Business?
Registered businesses only. Personal accounts cannot access the Business API.
Do my customers need the marsX app?
Messages are delivered to customers on marsX. Customers need a marsX account to receive them.
How long does verification take?
We will confirm timelines when onboarding opens. You can build and test in the sandbox meanwhile.
Can I send marketing messages?
The focus is transactional messages and OTPs. Promotional rules will be published with the launch policy.
Is customer data safe?
We collect only what is needed to deliver and report messages. See the Privacy section below.

Last updated 1 November 2026. By using marsX Business you agree to these policies, operated by Nexor Technology (“we”, “us”).
Privacy Policy
What we collect. Business details you give us (business name, contact person, work email, registration information), API usage data (keys used, request times, volumes), and message metadata (time, status, recipient ID).
How we use it. To verify your business, deliver and report messages, prevent abuse and fraud, provide support, and meet legal obligations.
OTP and message content. OTP codes are stored only in protected form and only until they expire or are verified. Message content is kept only as long as needed for delivery and troubleshooting.
No selling, no ads. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising or third-party tracking.
Sharing. Only with service providers that help us run the service, or when required by law.
Your rights. You may ask to access, correct or delete your business data. Contact us through the form on this page.
Security. Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted to authorised staff.
Terms of Service
Eligibility. marsX Business is only for registered businesses and their authorised representatives. Access starts after we approve your application.
Free service. The service is provided free of charge, as is and as available. We may change, limit or stop features with reasonable notice.
Your account. Keep API keys secret. You are responsible for all activity under your keys and must tell us at once if one is exposed.
Your obligations. Follow the Acceptable Use, Messaging and Verification policies and all applicable laws, including consent and data protection rules.
Suspension. We may suspend or end access for violations, abuse, or legal reasons.
Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures in delivery caused by factors outside our control.
Changes and law. We may update these terms and will post the new date here. Governing law and jurisdiction: [to be added by Nexor Technology].
Acceptable Use Policy
You must not use marsX Business for: spam or unsolicited bulk messages; fraud, phishing or impersonation; illegal, hateful, violent, adult or misleading content; harassing customers; messaging people who have blocked you or asked to stop; collecting data without consent; trying to bypass limits or security; or sending messages on behalf of another business without permission. Breaking these rules can lead to immediate suspension.
Business Verification Policy
We verify every business before enabling sending. We may ask for legal business name, registration details, website or proof of operation, and the contact person. Your verified name must match your real business and cannot imitate another brand, bank, government body or marsX itself. We may re-verify at any time, and remove the badge if details are false or out of date. Verification is free.
Messaging & OTP Policy
Messages must be relevant, accurate and clearly from your business. Use OTPs only to verify the person who requested them, and never ask customers to share a code with anyone. Do not send OTPs in bulk or without a user action. Respect customer choices: a customer who blocks your business will not receive further messages. Promotional content may be restricted; transactional messages come first.
Data Retention & Deletion
Expired or verified OTP codes are removed. Delivery metadata is kept for a limited period for reporting and abuse prevention, then deleted or anonymised. When you close your account, we delete your business data except what we must keep by law. Ask for deletion through the contact form.
